New Product! Sources of Water Digital & Print

I just finished a new product! I will be using this with my 5th grade students this month! This fully covers NGSS 5ESS2-2 about the sources of freshwater and saltwater on Earth.

A fun activity is included showing how much of the water on Earth is saltwater. The blue water represents the saltwater on Earth and the baby oil floating at the top represents the amount of freshwater on Earth.

This activity is available in three different versions: using 100 mL graduated cylinder, using 1000 mL graduated cylinder, or using a bowl and measuring with cups and TBSPs. Here is a picture of a 1000 mL graduated cylinder being used in this activity.

This resources includes four pages of notes in both print and digital format. I like printing out the notes and having students glue them in their science journal. But, in this time of distance learning, the digital option is also great to use.

The digital notes are Google slides for Google Classroom. There are word banks and text boxes. A slideshow is also included as well as a printable and self grading quiz.

An added bonus is a link to a Kahoot game for additional practice. My students love Kahoots!
